The Shopping Cart
General note
Shopping Cart contains products. Every time you click the pink "Add to Cart" and/or "Check Out" buttons, you place items in a virtual basket just as you would do it in a real store. The Shopping Cart keeps your selected items until you are ready to confirm your final order.

Adding products to your shopping cart
You can add items to your Shopping Cart anytime before you are ready to submit your order by simply clicking the "Keep Shopping" button that appears once you have activated your cart.

Viewing the contents of your shopping cart
Your Shopping Cart is always on display, in real-time, in any shopping area of the site! Simply look at the righthand (purple) column to review what is in the cart and all associated costs.

Item links
Each item placed in the Shopping Cart remains hot-linked to its corresponding product details page.

Product quantities
To the left of the title of each product you are purchasing is a small icon resembling a hand holding a pencil in writing position. To the left of that is a number. If you wish to increase or decrease the quantity you want from the corresponding item listing, simply click on the (pencil in the hand) icon. A tiny box will appear with an editable number field. Simply place the number you now wish to purchase and the Shopping Cart will do the rest.

Cost calculation
You do not need to calculate the total cost of your items. Every time you add a product the "compact" Shopping Cart displays a subtotal of all items in the cart.

The Shopping Cart Page itself
The Shopping Cart page displays selected product with quantity, price, shipping costs and applicable tax.
To remove an item from your Shopping Cart, simply click on the little trash can to the right of the listing of the product in the shopping cart.
The Shopping Cart is always up-to-date in your current shopping session.
You may shop as long as you like and only check out when you are ready.
When you decide to finalize your order, click the pink "Check Out" button.

Age limit and responsibility
To buy or preview any product on this website you must be a legal adult, at least 18 years of age (in most states).

Payment options
We accept payment by American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover Card.
The charge on your credit card statement will read: SE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Placing orders

Please allow ten (10) business days for your personal check to clear before your order will be processed.
Placing your first order with ShopErotic.com is easy. Just follow these steps to order any of our products online:
   
  1. Click on the pink "Add to Cart" button to the right of the item you would like to purchase to add that item to your Shopping Cart.
2. The contents of your Shopping Cart as well as all order-relevant data may be viewed at any time by simply looking at the right-hand (purple) column of the screen.
3. When you are ready to place your order, just click either of the pink "Checkout" buttons on the Shopping Cart page. You will be taken to the "Customer Login" page where you will either login to your acccount or register for a new account. Complete the appropriate area (either login using your login name and password, or follow the instructions to register a new account).
4. Once this is completed, you will find yourself at the Shipping page. There are several ways to pay for your order, click on the one that you will be using for this order and, if you would like, you may enter any special instructions and/or comments into the provided text box at the bottom of the page you are on.
5. Click on the "Submit Order" button to be taken to the Confirm Page. You will find a summary of your order, but you will still have an opportunity to make changes from this page before you submit your order.
6. Clicking on the "Submit Order" button is the last step. Be sure to click this button!
7. The next page will show you a confirmation of your order. We recommend
you to get a sales receipt for your records by clicking on the "Get Your Receipt" button.
 
Reviewing your order status
You can review the details and status of any order you have placed by clicking the "My Account" link located in the right-hand (purple) column. For orders that have already been shipped, you can confirm the date and method of shipment, an estimated date of arrival, and a tracking number, if applicable.
Click the "Order Status" link at the top-right corner of the page to check the status of an order; you will be taken to our sign-in page, which is designed to protect your security. Enter your email address and password here.
Once you have signed in, you will see a list of all orders you placed before. Each order listing depicts:
   
  • Date and Time Placed
• Order Number
• Order Type
• Total Cost
• Order Status (Pending, On Hold, Cancelled, Fulfilled or Partially Fulfilled)
 
NOTE: Since our online ordering and the warehouse are fully automated, your order enters our credit card verification and approval system almost immediately. Once a credit card transaction approval has been received from your bank, the order enters shipping system and its status remains "pending" until the actual items are shipped to you. If you do not hear from us within 5 - 10 minutes after placing your order, you should expect the merchandise to be delivered as fast as the items availability and the shipping method you selected permit. When the items are shipped, the online order status is updated. If some of the items are not shipped yet, the order status states "Partially Fulfilled"; otherwise it is "Fulfilled". If we are unable to ship some of the items you ordered right away, the remaining items will be shipped at no cost to you.

If some of the credit card information including your credit card billing address is incomplete, you will receive a request for additional information from us and your order will be placed "On Hold" until the required information is provided by you. If you are a US customer and we do not hear from you within 2 weeks from the day the order was placed, your order will be automatically cancelled. Same applies to International customers; however, we allow a month for them to submit the requested information. Please note that simply updating your personal information through the web site will help with the future orders, not with the order "in question". Once an order has been recorded, the information can not be updated automatically, you have to contact our customer service to submit the changes. When requested information is received and processed, the "Hold" is removed from your account and the status of the order is changed back to "Pending". Please note that our inventory is constantly changing; therefore, if significant time elapses between the date you placed an order and the date we received additional information, some of the items you purchased may not have the same availability as they did at the time you initially placed the order.

Unfortunately if you provide us with incorrect credit card information we will have to cancel your order, which will be reflected in your account as the order status "Cancelled".

 

Making changes to orders
You can make changes to your order by calling us at 800.330.2950 or emailing our customer service at support@shoperotic.com. Please note that while added items are not reflected in your online account, the cancelled items from your original order are. In addition, please note that while your credit card is only changed for the items we shipped, your online order shows subtotals, tax and shipping charges "as placed".

Canceling orders
If you wish to cancel your order, you must to inform us via email immediately. Orders that have been packed for shipping, can not be cancelled.
Be sure to include:
 
  • Your Name
• Email Address
• Order Confirmation Number
• The list of the item(s) you want us to cancel.

Returns
We return or exchange for STORE CREDIT only, please order carefully.

To ensure the safety and health of our customers we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that comes into contact with ANY bodily fluid (saliva, semen, urine, blood, et al). Once these items leave our warehouse, we consider them to be used and non-resalable.

 
  1. All products are warranted by us for 30 days from the invoice date. If any product is found DEFECTIVE within that 30 day period, please contact us for an exchange. We will exchange ANY defective item for that same item only.
2. We will be glad to exchange NON-DEFECTIVE items that do not constitute a health risk for 30 days from the invoice date. All NON-DEFECTIVE returns will be issued Store Credit for the amount of the item.
3. The customer is responsible for the cost of all shipping charges; for defective items, Shop Erotic will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item to the customer only.
 
Prices and discounts
We offer you consistently low prices on every item in our store. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. ShopErotic.com works directly with manufacturers and vendors, without any intermediaries. We buy direct and pass our savings on to you. Note: all prices are specified without shipping rates and sales tax.
